Cristina was very cool and easy to work with. Not very much time was needed before Cristina was off hitting pose after pose!! After 30 minutes to warm up all images forward were strong and very usable! Cristina picked her favorite two and I massaged them into 8×10 headshots and had them professional reproduced on high-end photographic paper fit to be given to any agency or casting call.

Fabiola of Fairytale Beauty, LLC, my infamous wife ( LOL ) provided all hair and makeup for this shoot. Fabiola specializes in Professional Bridal Hair & Makeup Services in South Florida but as a team, Fabiola and myself work on many projects together: As indicated in the past they include actor head-shots; celebrity headshots; male & female model headshots along with fashion; commercial; wedding photography; catalog; gala events; boudoir sessions and much much more. For over 15 years we have been honing our skills and hope it shows in our work.

It has always been my goal to positively change the lives of all I photograph. I put 110% of my heart and soul into each and every image. As I always say, the devils in the details and I truly believe this to be the case!

Gone are the days of dark room retouching / photo processing elbows deep in chemicals. Now I sit in front of multiple 30″ LCD monitors to do the same work! The methods have changed over time but the time to create a work of art has not. So many things in photography seem easier now with the advent of digital. The truth be told, it is NOT! I will leave it at that and may blog about this in the near future.

About Joseph Cristina

I'm a full-time Palm Beach based Professional Photographer with over 18 years experience in both Photography and Graphic / Media Production. Formal training was received from FAU and the Art Institute in the late 80's. I've worked within multiple advertising agencies along with having work published internationally. Allure Multimedia, LLC is my photographic and multimedia studio base in the sunny Palm Beach, FL. The studio's capacities are many from professional photography to advertising design and multimedia presentation ie. (Wedding Photography, Corporate Events, Modeling, Mitzvahs, TV and Internet Advertising Spots) to name a few. In this digital age, the number of part-time photographers has increase 100 fold diluting the industry with what are known as "weekend warriors". This has lend itself to a rise of a cottage industry of amateurs posing as professionals, underbidding and misleading only to then produce mediocre, at best, final production work. Clients coming to us for professional photography or media creation are reassured by our professionalism, impeccable service, and final product provided, they have made the right decision in commissioning our studio.

This blog rocks! I gotta say, that I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks, 🙂

    A definite great read..

First of all, I love the photographs. Very soft, beautiful and well lit/composed. You are skilled at your craft and that is evident by your portfolio.

But what really appeals to me about this blog post is where you state “It has always been my goal to positively change the lives of all I photograph.” I don’t think that I have heard very many artists say that. Artists seek to replicate reality, create their own reality or express their own personal emotions. That is good. But there is another step needed–really connecting with your client as a person and leaving them with what can be considered a thoughtful and positive experience matters as well. When the bride cries in joy over the images, the model books the gig, and the family goes crazy over the group portraits, that makes a photographer feel good. But the photographer should also think about how good that makes the client feel, and the lasting impact of their work. I think it is stellar that you do that.

Great post, thanks for sharing. 🙂
