Opening Night of Joseph Cristina’s Fine Art Gallery Exhibit
in the Heart of the Art District Las Olas Ft Lauderdale FL
Opening Night of my Fine Art Gallery Exhibit in the Heart of the Art District Las Olas Fort Lauderdale Florida turned out exceptional and will run throughout the entire month of March! I’ve included a few pictures from just prior to opening to share some of the experience.
The collection exhibited was based on a theme “Good vs Evil” which included 10 of my Fine Art Gallery Prints along with the amazing canvas paintings of International Artist Mrs. Stephanie Knight.
Fine Art Photography pieces were hung in a most minimalistic style with absolutely no visible mount. All prints were chemically printed on Fuji Crystal Photographic Paper and NOT via an InkJet printing system.
[ I prefer my fine art work lab printed in this manor as it produces absolutely luscious blacks which in my opinion are hard to replicate via an InkJet Printer ]

The early arrivals included Marilyn Monroe’s Stage Pianist and author of the book “A Different View of Marilyn” whom toured together throughout her career, CEO’s of local banking institutions, Art Collectors, Gallery Owners, Fellow Artists and a few which that I can not disclose as to their attendance. All in all, the showing turned out fantastic and was a huge success on many levels.
One of the highlights came later in the evening:
With a Gallery packed with attendees, Mr. Al Guastafeste, “Marilyn’s Pianist” took center stage “so to speak” and began playing this incredible arrangement and once complete and after the seemingly endless ovation he paused for a second, looked up at two of my pieces hung right above the piano and indicated that the piece was dedicated me as was inspired by the feeling he received by these photographs. I was so moved by this I really was speechless, honored and humbled.
The show will remain at the gallery for the entire month of March and 3 more large events will be taking place, one per week going forward. Visit my Facebook page for details and times, as they become available.
