Catherine Hickem is passionate about challenging women to become the Godly mothers He calls them to be.
She is recognized throughout the country as a speaker and author who inspires women to embrace and understand their influence as mothers. Her unique experiences as a psychotherapist, corporate coach, and women’s ministry leader over the past 25 years help her empower, educate and equip women in every phase of motherhood.
Catherine founded Intentional Moms, a national ministry committed to enriching women in their roles as mothers by offering a variety of seminars, resources and coaching programs. Her first book, Raising Children with No Regrets, emerged in 2007 being hailed by readers as “one of the best of its kind” and a powerful complement to her original Bible study entitled “The Heart of the Matter is the Heart of the Mother”. Catherine’s gift for taking the complex and making it life-applicable helps mothers of all ages discover God on a deeper level and gain the confidence necessary to become a successful mother.
Recognized as a leader in her field, Catherine’s seminars reach a national audience. She serves as a resident expert on NewBaby.com, collaborates with Precious Moments and writes articles that have been featured in numerous publications.
Catherine’s career has given her a front row seat to share the intimate journey of women’s lives through her unique understanding of the female heart. Her multiple roles, including those of wife and mother of two, provide credibility to speak on a variety of topics with humble authority. Catherine combines her practical yet approachable style with God-given perspective to impart wisdom and hope into every woman’s heart.
Her greatest ministry and deepest passion is her own home. She and Neil have been married since 1977. Her greatest teachers in the love and mercy of God have been her children, Taylor and Tiffany who are both college students.
As you can see, Catherine is an incredible individual. Passionate and extremely demanding, in a good way! She force all work with her to bring their A game to the table, nothing less is permitted! It was a true pleasure working with her and I look forward to working with her in the future!
