Everyone wants to know who they will be working with so I broke down and put up a picture of myself. As they say, “The Shoe Maker Goes Without Shoes” and as a professional photographer this also rings true but instead of shoes it’s photos of myself and family.

Cristina was very cool and easy to work with. Not very much time was needed before Cristina was off hitting pose after pose!! After 30 minutes to warm up all images forward were strong and very usable! Cristina picked her favorite two and I massaged them into 8×10 headshots and had them professional reproduced on high-end photographic paper fit to be given to any agency or casting call.

Fabiola of Fairytale Beauty, LLC, my infamous wife ( LOL ) provided all hair and makeup for this shoot. Fabiola specializes in Professional Bridal Hair & Makeup Services in South Florida but as a team, Fabiola and myself work on many projects together: As indicated in the past they include actor head-shots; celebrity headshots; male & female model headshots along with fashion; commercial; wedding photography; catalog; gala events; boudoir sessions and much much more. For over 15 years we have been honing our skills and hope it shows in our work.

It has always been my goal to positively change the lives of all I photograph. I put 110% of my heart and soul into each and every image. As I always say, the devils in the details and I truly believe this to be the case!

Gone are the days of dark room retouching / photo processing elbows deep in chemicals. Now I sit in front of multiple 30″ LCD monitors to do the same work! The methods have changed over time but the time to create a work of art has not. So many things in photography seem easier now with the advent of digital. The truth be told, it is NOT! I will leave it at that and may blog about this in the near future.

Kelley was such a pleasure to work with. With very little coaching, she was hitting pose after pose. The above photos were just a few from this week’s 2 hour modeling headshot session with Kelley Hall. Fabiola of Fairytale Beauty, LLC, my fabulous wife provided all hair and makeup for this shoot. Once again;  As a professional fashion and catalog photographer it’s very import to not only capture the product but to SELL the product with the image. Having a model that can really soak in the essence of the garment helps to makes the translation from a simply image into a marketable one! My goal in all professional commercial photography shoots, be it product, fashion or people is to make sure the “element” is displayed in the most appealing light. A buyer, wholesale or retail, should be able to experience the garment by simply looking at it!

Being retained to shoot Nicola Jay, a high-end fashion designer out of South Africa’s, new line of Gym, Dance, Yoga & Tennis wear was an honor. Having Miss Latina Dominican Republic, Marcies Elizabeth, model for the shoot was in a word, amazing! Her attitude, comfort behind the camera and willingness to step up and go beyond what’s expected is simply a breath of fresh air … Beside that, she’s obviously beautiful!
