The inspiration for this entry was from a Tweet made by Rosh Sillars @newmediaphotographer on Twitter while speaking at Photo Plus Expo : “Bottom line you get what you give” as well as recently covering, as I have in past years, the Chocolate Festival benefiting the Children’s Craniofacial Association [http://www.ccakids.com]. This wonderful organization assists children with abnormality of the face and/or the head. These disfigurements can be brought about by birth defect, disease or trauma.

Over the years, many non-profit organizations have come to me looking for event coverage; not as a step and repeat or press photographer but as one whom can capture their gala event as it happens and in a light that encourages others to participate in the future.

From the American Heart Association, Jewish Family & Children Services, American Cancer Society & and many many others; I have always made it a point to donate my services to at least 1 charity per month at no charge, a mere stipend or at a reduced rate to simply give back to the local community.

This simple act has not only helped 10’s of thousands directly and indirectly but as a unforeseen side effect, of sorts, has catapulted my career.

We have all heard the sayings that go something like “Charity Begins In The Home” and “Give When Your Own Cup Is Full” … but honestly … I completely disagree with both of these premises.

Chocolate Festival Benefiting Children’s Craniofacial Association

What a wonderful turn out. Our Photographic Event Coverage began at 12pm and was complete by 4. Within that time there was well over 600 Aventura Mall patrons enjoying the Chocolate Festival while contributing to the Children’s Craniofacial Association.  It was my pleasure to donate photographic event coverage services to such an amazing group of people benifiting such a great cause. Chef Rick of Villa Grande in Aventura seen above was the catalyst for this event.

Each year, more than 100,000 children are either born with or develop a craniofacial condition in the United states. Their parents and families struggle to understand what they have and how to help them. And parents themselves struggle with how to cope emotionally and socially with the physical consequences of having a child with a craniofacial anomaly, and their pain of appearing different. The Children’s Craniofacial Association was founded to help them, and today provides the support they need to lead positive productive lives. – Children’s Craniofacial Association literature

The above few images were pulled from a session with Keely and her parents for a comp card and professional child model head shot requested by a local modeling agency. Keely did such a great job – Barely 4 years old – the way she took direction was very refreshing.

Kids Head Shot’s ( HeadShots ) and Comp Card are just a few of the many services our West Palm Beach Photography Studio provides to our clients.

In this set I was looking for a more angelic style which complements Keely personality. Getting to know the client is one of the trademarks which set us apart. Truly caring about each and every client and giving to them 110% is my goal!
