Chocolate Festival Benefiting Children’s Craniofacial Association

What a wonderful turn out. Our Photographic Event Coverage began at 12pm and was complete by 4. Within that time there was well over 600 Aventura Mall patrons enjoying the Chocolate Festival while contributing to the Children’s Craniofacial Association.  It was my pleasure to donate photographic event coverage services to such an amazing group of people benifiting such a great cause. Chef Rick of Villa Grande in Aventura seen above was the catalyst for this event.

Each year, more than 100,000 children are either born with or develop a craniofacial condition in the United states. Their parents and families struggle to understand what they have and how to help them. And parents themselves struggle with how to cope emotionally and socially with the physical consequences of having a child with a craniofacial anomaly, and their pain of appearing different. The Children’s Craniofacial Association was founded to help them, and today provides the support they need to lead positive productive lives. - Children’s Craniofacial Association literature

Absolutely stunning presentation put together by Chef Rick of Porto Vita Ville Grande in Aventura. With a magazine and advertising background I always try to make an image SELL, so to speak. 2nd Annual Bowling Bash Non-Profit Event Coverage

Benefiting Boca Helping Hand Charitable Organization

Wow! Nicole & Lori from (South Florida VIPS) knocked it out of the park for the 2nd Annual Bowling Bash Benefiting Boca Helping Hand Charitable Organization! Nearly 100 people began their night with a few games of “spirited” bowling at Boca Bowl in Boca Raton, FL and capped off the night with a fun filled awards presentation and drinks at Big City Tavern at town center!

I hope everyone enjoyed the event and Joseph’s event coverage. It was great fun and I look forward to meeting everyone again at the next great function! Are you ready to see the images?

The above images and many others will soon to be featured in a local Palm Beach couture bridal online catalog. As a professional wedding photographer I can say I just absolutely LOVE shooting bridal catalogs. It allows for full control over the subject and lighting and gives me an opportunity to break out the Medium Format Film Camera I learned on over 18 years ago.

So many times I’m asked, “as a professional photographer with all of your experience what would you suggest I do to become a professional wedding photographer or any professional photographer for that matter?“. My answer always remains, purchase a light meter, an old manual film camera 35mm or 120mm, rolls of film and start shooting. When you can, under and light situation, put together a full can that is not all BLACK or all WHITE with proper shadow, mid-tones and high lights you can call yourself a professional and begin to create. All to often, so called “professional photographers” are simply amateurs portraying themselves as professional cloaked behind an expensive digital camera but … simply stated, without a strong understanding of light and the equipment, images produced will be no better or at times even worse them a cheap Point and Shoot.
